The main objective of this comparative study is to provide a set of basic information on the labour law regime applicable to the relations between workers (mainly drivers) and employers in the road transport sector in the 28 EU countries (EU-28).

The study covers the main individual and collective rights of employees and the fundamental aspects of the life of the employment contract from its inception through to its termination and the modification of working conditions.
